rawcus at Artplay
rawcus joined with children with and without disabilities to create an interactive maze of performance, dance, sound, sculpture and poetry. This was a 10 week residency at ArtPlay funded by The City of Melbourne.
ArtPlay is a creative space funded by the City of Melbourne, presenting high quality programming which engages the imagination of children and families through meaningful arts encounters with a range of professional artists.

Sticky was a rawcus outreach project that offered parents and children with a disability an opportunity to attend a series of theatre workshops. The workshops were facilitated by rawcus Artistic Director Kate Sulan and co facilitated by collaborating Visual Artist Emily Barrie, Musician Zoƫ Barry and Richard Vabre.

Cherish
A collaboration by St Martins Youth Theatre and rawcus
This project brought together young people with and without disabilities to work with members of the rawcus ensemble. They explored objects and things that people cherish.
The project concluded with a performance co-directed by Kate Sulan and Sarah Austin with sound design by Zoe Barrie and lighting by Richard Vabre.


On 31 March, 2011, a flashmob of 400 people descended on Federation Square. Conceived by rawcus and directed by Kate Sulan - rawcus Artisitic Director and Clair Korobacz - One Step at a Time Like This. The flashmob involved individuals and groups from across Victoria. The Flashmob is part of the Youtube Project a series of short films by Rawcus and FOG Theatre made for YouTube broadcast. Funded by the Department of Human Services (Southern Region), the films are being made throughout 2011.
